ORGANIC TEAS. METHODS OF GROWING MARIJUANA SEEDS

For this article we will have the opportunity to see the experiences of a friend and great grower, with whom I have been able to talk about this issue without mincing words and leaving aside marks or other handicaps, which could be delaying the end of that conversation. The goal was simply to be able to clarify the views of each of us regarding the preparation of organic teas.

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE PREPARATION OF ORGANIC TEA

To prepare an organic tea for growing our marijuana plants we will need:

A minimum 50 liter drum in which we will make the mixtures and let them rest.
Useful micro-life for cannabis : Trichoderma and mycorrhiza, which will be in charge of digesting the necessary nutrients for our plants.
Carbohydrates or sugars. It is the favorite food of the micro-life.
Organic growth fertilizer (based on seaweed).
Water recirculation pump . With this we can always leave the water in motion avoiding puddling and the subsequent creation of bacteria that could be harmful to our marijuana plants.
Air pump. This will provide the oxygen necessary for our tea to be active. Without forgetting that the contribution of oxygen to the irrigation water is beneficial and will not hinder any process that we are going to carry out.

HOW TO PREPARE ORGANIC TEAS

The preparation of our tea is very simple, we just have to fill the tank with chlorine-free water (distilled or osmosis) and add the microriza and trichodermas , that previously we will have dissolved in warm water to avoid that, when adding them to the water, small lumps are formed that prevent their total dissolution. For this I usually use a 2-liter bottle in which I first add the mycorrhizae and trichodermas. Then, little by little, I add no more than 1 liter of warm water, being careful not to be too aggressive filling the bottle, as this would cause some of the dust to be dispersed through the air with the danger that we breathe them (for greater security we can use a mask to avoid breathing dust when performing this last step). Shaking the bottle, we will make the mixture to perfection, being able to add the solution later in the drum of the master mix. Once we have this step resolved, we should provide at low doses (1 or 2ml xL) the aforementioned liquids (carbohydrates, biological fertilizer based on of algae), we will stir the mixture a little for its perfect dissolution and let rest between 24 and 48 hours. To make the tea, we will only have to let the mixture rest in the tank and after 48 hours we can have of the total mix. We will only have to refill the tank and repeat the preparation for the next nutrient intake.

NOTES ON GROWING USING THIS ORGANIC METHOD

I carried out this technique with my last two crops and I have noticed that the color of the leaves throughout the crop has been constant , without marking any kind of deficiency until the end of flowering, which I had already planned to be able to leave the material perfectly clean at the end of this crop. Only with the use of the aforementioned technique and two irrigations providing microelements to the irrigation, without using tea, on those occasions I could see how the cultivation ended in perfect conditions.

I have been able to see how the smell with which the crops in which I have used this feeding technique ended has been more aggressive, coming to touch the problems of odors (nothing that a good ozonator and the use of odor neutralizers). The production has not been a weak point even being an organic crop. In this way, we see that if the nutrient regime is adequate at all times, we do not leave flower production so far apart. For me, this technique will be one of the most used by organic growers , without forgetting the Grokashi and Bokashi techniques, which we will talk about in a later article that you cannot miss.
